Cole: A Boulder Series Novella Page 13

“What’s going on?” I smiled at her as I watched her pull her hair back, she was flustered.

Ari looked around us again and then ran her hands over her jeans. “This is what I was doing this morning.” She slid the phone across to me face down. I went to pick it up as I looked at her again.

“Careful!” Ari whispered as someone passed the booth.

I turned the phone over. Simultaneously my jaw dropped open as all the blood in my body raced to my dick. Ari had taken a selfie, not a nude selfie. No. What my little tease had done was take a selfie of her wearing the sexiest lingerie I had ever seen. She had on black lace underwear, her breasts which were perfect in my opinion anyway, were almost toppling out the bra but still looked perfectly encased. The panties were so delicate looking, I doubted they would hold up against a forceful tug. Two luxurious pieces of clothing, no—scraps of clothing—that looked like they had been painted on my woman.

“Colton,” Ari whispered. “Cole?” Had she been trying to get my attention?

“Huh?” I tore my eyes off the phone, glancing at her once before returning to the screen. Holy hell she looked like sin personified. My eyes travelled over her body as I studied the image on the phone.

“Oh my God, this is more embarrassing than I thought,” Ari reached for the phone. I moved away from her slightly.

“Are you wearing this now?” My voice sounded hoarse. I looked at her and she nodded mutely. “And the ribbon, on the panties?” I cleared my throat, my mouth was dry. “They actually untie to take them off?”

“Yes,” Ari whispered beside me, her face beet red.

I nodded as I stared at the image. Tucking her phone into my coat I got out of the booth. “Let’s go.”

“What?” Ari looked at me in confusion. “Where?”

I wasn’t waiting, reaching in I caught her hand. “C’mon Ari, let’s go.” She slid out of the booth and when she was standing in front of me, I reached around her for her bookbag.

“Where are we going? I haven’t finished my coffee,” Ari protested as I headed for the door.

  “Home.”

Ari tried to pull up, to stop me from walking. Fuck that, I merely picked her up and continued walking, ignoring the stares and comments from fellow students.

“Colton! Put me down, you’re being crazy!” Ari half-laughed and half-shouted. “People are staring!”

“You think you can show me that and get no reaction?” I shook my head as I hurried to the 4Runner.

“We can’t take off in the middle of the day Colton, we have classes,” Ari said as I placed her at the passenger door. I leaned down and kissed her roughly, letting her know exactly what I was feeling, how that image had affected me. Pressing her against the door, my hands reached down under her ass and I lifted her until she had her legs wrapped around me. The small moan from her was nearly my undoing.

“Get a room!” Someone shouted as they passed. Ari tore her head away from me as she hid her head on my shoulder in embarrassment.

“My plan exactly.” I let her down and opened the car door.

“Colton…” Ari started to protest but one look at my face and she got into the car.

I took her phone out of my pocket, quickly punching in Ari’s code to unlock the screen and then stared at the image again. “God, I need this picture,” I mumbled as I raced to the driver’s side. When I got in, I caught her hesitant but triumphant smile. I loved how confident she had become in the bedroom. She had been so shy and unsure to begin with but as we settled into our relationship, Ari had become more assertive, self-assured not only in her body, but her sexuality.

“Work better than you thought it would?” I asked as I put the car in drive.

“Maybe too well? I wasn’t expecting to be grabbed and taken home in the middle of the day,” Ari admitted.

“I don’t know what you thought was going to happen,” I muttered as I drove us home.

“You went all caveman on me.” Ari’s smile softened the accusation.

“Damn right.” I grabbed her hand and kissed the back of it. “You think you can tell me you’re wearing that and not expect me to drag you home? Do you have any idea how un-fucking-believable you look in that photo?” I dropped her hand down to my thigh. Her fingers crept up my thigh and ran over the length of me.

“I get the idea,” her voice was husky as she stared where her hand was, she stroked her fingers over me again.

“Jesus, Ari.” I took in a deep breath. “I’m driving. Wait until we’re home.”

“You have excellent control Colton, show me how good you are at control.” Her fingers were on my zipper, tugging it down, then her hand was sliding into my pants and her fingers were wrapped around me.

“We’re going to crash and I’m going to have my dick hanging out my pants,” I protested as I squirmed in my seat.

“I have absolute faith in you Colton,” Ari said smugly. She was watching my face as her hand continued to stroke me.

“God, I’m going to make you pay for this,” I muttered as I pressed harder on the gas. Her light laugh only made me drive faster

We got to the house and as I parked, I was already dragging her over the seat onto my lap. She straddled me easily and then we were kissing each other with equal desperation. Pulling her hair softly, I tugged her head back to expose the column of her throat, running my lips over it, nibbling and kissing my way to her ear. Ari was grinding down on me and my hand on her hip was encouraging her movement.

“We have to go inside,” she panted as I bit her earlobe. “Matt or Theo could come home. Or Connor.” A gasp from her told me she didn’t really care.

Pulling away from her, I looked at her and then started to laugh. “We took the car.”

Ari stopped grinding on me. Understanding dawning as she bit back her laugh. “Oh shit, they’re going to kill us.”

“I can’t even show them why we took the car.” I wrapped my arms around her and hugged her tight as I laughed harder.

“You can still show me though?” Ari asked me as she pulled back to look at me questioningly. “We’re not going back?”

My laughter died as I took in her flushed face, her kiss swollen lips and the dark desire in her eyes. “No, I have some unfinished business with you.” I opened the car door and she got out, lightly jumping down from the car.

“Only if you catch me, Colton.” Ari grinned at me as she flung the door shut and then raced towards the house, running around the side of the house, knowing the back-patio doors were probably unlocked.

I already caught you baby, I thought as I watched her disappear around the side of the house. I got out of the SUV, making sure I was decent in case our housekeeper, Mrs Green was still here. I grinned as I closed the car door behind me and started heading to the house, but I don’t mind catching you again.
